Role Overview
The Member Services Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to members through various communication channels, including phone and digital platforms. This role requires a solid understanding of operational protocols and a commitment to providing outstanding member support.
Key Responsibilities
• Adhere to all Credit Union policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and ensure access to accounts is strictly for business purposes.
• Follow security and control procedures diligently.
• Engage in member-facing activities as directed by management.
• Collaborate with leadership and coaching teams to enhance service delivery skills.
• Verify member identification and ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in processing account openings, wire transfers, stop payments, card disputes, and account reconciliations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member issues related to online access.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill member requests.
• Actively participate in member interactions through phone and digital communication.
• Meet performance standards based on organizational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
• Maintain high standards of soft skills and call quality.
• Understand organizational goals and provide recommendations aligned with those objectives.
• Utilize CXone functionalities to assess personal performance and align with organizational goals.
• Embrace feedback and coaching to improve performance.
• Assist in other operational areas, including community service and employee development, as needed.
• Possess knowledge in basic Financial Advisory and Real Estate Services and provide quality referrals.
• Exhibit a positive demeanor towards members and colleagues while maintaining professionalism.
• Complete additional tasks and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a four-year degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is strongly preferred.
• Proven proficiency in all Member Services Associate responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build member confidence and trust.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Consistent demonstration of the organization's core values.
Work Environment
This position is based in an office setting with close proximity to colleagues and members, which may include background noise from various office activities.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to fulfill job demands effectively.
• Primarily a sedentary role requiring extended periods of sitting.
• Proficient use of hands and fingers for computer and telephone operations.
• Ability to comprehend and respond to phone communications.
• Capability to lift up to 10-15 pounds.
