Position Overview

The Regional Sales Leader will oversee the Gulf Coast market, which includes areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.

Role Responsibilities

Are you a proactive individual with a passion for driving growth and achieving results? In the role of Regional Sales Leader, you will be responsible for cultivating distributor partnerships and accelerating growth within our welding product range. Your objective is to enhance awareness, develop new business opportunities, and effectively represent our welding solutions through distributor channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain robust distributor relationships that promote and enhance growth.
  • Develop and implement training programs for distributors to ensure comprehensive product knowledge and effective marketing techniques.
  • Create strategic account plans with key end users and distributors to increase sales and market presence.
  • Manage a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities, ensuring timely progression of prospects and tracking of results.
  • Engage with top decision-makers by presenting compelling product value propositions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Coordinate product trials and demonstrations to facilitate conversions and maximize cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Technical Certificate, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business-related field.
Essential Skills for Success:
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, particularly in value-based selling of commercial and industrial products.
  • Prior experience working with distribution channels.
  • Technical proficiency to effectively sell a comprehensive product portfolio.
  • Ability to formulate effective account plans and manage sales opportunities efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to convey value propositions to all levels of management.
  • Proven value selling capabilities with a track record of converting new business.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and/or CRM systems.
  • Excellent presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel overnight at least 50% of the time.
