Talent Management and Development Manager

Southcoast Health System is seeking a highly skilled Talent Management and Development Manager to lead the build, implementation, and management of employee and leadership development initiatives. This role will oversee talent management initiatives such as succession planning, talent reviews, internal talent mobility, and career pathing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning and methodologies, instructional design, course and curriculum development, and assessment instruments. They will also have experience working with diverse types of learners across career stages and a proven track record in leading, designing, and executing on learning strategy.

The Talent Management and Development Manager will work closely with leadership, key stakeholders, HRBPs, and the organizational capability team to develop and implement scalable solutions in all areas of talent management. They will define competencies, leverage assessments, build leadership development pathways, support career pathing, and integrate performance management and succession planning for key roles.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence organizational decisions and drive adoption of new programs. They will also have a strong understanding of the evolving healthcare industry and the ability to drive significant change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the build, implementation, and management of employee and leadership development initiatives
  • Oversee talent management initiatives such as succession planning, talent reviews, internal talent mobility, and career pathing
  • Develop and implement scalable solutions in all areas of talent management
  • Define competencies, leverage assessments, build leadership development pathways, support career pathing, and integrate performance management and succession planning for key roles
  • Work closely with leadership, key stakeholders, HRBPs, and the organizational capability team to develop and implement talent management initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field or equivalent education/experience; Master's Degree and learning certification(s) preferred
  • 5+ years of hands-on adult learning and development experience in a contemporary learning environment required
  • Considerable experience working with diverse types of learners across career stages
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning and methodologies, instructional design, course and curriculum development, and assessment instruments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence organizational decisions and drive adoption of new programs
  • Strong understanding of the evolving healthcare industry and the ability to drive significant change

Pay Range: USD $94,203.20 - USD $158,308.80 /Yr.
