KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER:

The Regional Operations Manager will oversee the management of 8-12 convenience store locations and their respective teams. This leadership role will focus on engaging and empowering store personnel while ensuring accountability and consistency across all sites. The aim is to foster a positive work environment and support career growth within GPM.

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Oversee sales and operational functions across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and Store Managers to ensure all sites are clean, well-stocked, organized, and provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Work closely with Store Managers on staffing, store conditions, and expectations, while ensuring accountability among management and team members.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service through daily interactions with customers, team members, and vendors.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor management staff within the designated area.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedures and standards, overseeing daily operations and sanitation requirements at each location.
  • Implement company policies and establish short- and long-term goals and objectives.
  • Manage expenses and oversee payroll budgets.
  • Analyze and influence the profit and loss statements.
  • Address employee relations issues with the support of the Human Resources Manager.
  • Play a key role in loss prevention, internal theft, and inventory management.
  • Complete daily documentation and data entry in a timely manner as directed by management.
  • Take on special assignments and projects as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or management preferred; however, 3-5 years of retail management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in convenience store or multi-unit management preferred.
  • Food service experience at a managerial level is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience required, ideally in convenience store, fast food, restaurant, or retail operations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability to be on call for emergencies and store needs for 18-24 hours of operation.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong professional communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to change.
