Job Summary:

Lori's Gifts Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our gift shop team in providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable shopping experience for our guests. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing store operations, and building strong relationships with hospital staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests to create a positive shopping experience.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and drive sales growth through effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Store Operations:
    • Manage store inventory levels and maintain a well-organized store environment.
    • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of sales transactions and handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging in-store promotions and events.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform inventory decisions and optimize product offerings.
  • Security and Loss Prevention:
    • Ensure the security and integrity of store assets and prevent loss through effective inventory management and loss prevention strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of retail experience, including 1+ year in a store management or supervisor capacity.
  • Education:
    • High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong sales and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
