**Senior Product Strategy Manager**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Product Strategy Manager to join our team at Blue Shield of California. As a key member of our Product Strategy team, you will be responsible for developing and executing transformative product strategies that drive short and long-term financial and membership growth across our lines of business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Product Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive 3-year product visions and strategies to grow membership, improve member retention, increase profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead Product Management Teams: Oversee a team of product managers to execute on delivery of product strategies, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
- Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Assess market trends, current product offerings, and customer needs to identify new product opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance and management of our specialty products in market, including developing required scorecards and metrics, and setting operational goals and metrics for product development.
- Business Case Development: Develop business cases and ROI analyses to provide new product recommendations to senior leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with key cross-functional leaders, including General Managers, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Vendor Management, Finance, and Actuary, to define product strategy initiatives.
- Strategy Communication and Alignment: Effectively socialize strategy, gain alignment, and build consensus with leaders to ensure successful product launches.
- Process Efficiency Identification: Partner with medical line of business teams to identify process efficiencies across products.
- Strategic Initiatives Participation: Participate in overall strategic initiatives for the Product organization as a specialty subject matter expert to ensure specialty requirements are captured in investment priorities.
- Product Evangelism: Serve as a product evangelist, infusing innovation and communicating the value proposition of our products and strategy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 10 years of prior relevant experience, including 4 years of management experience.
- Product Management Experience: Requires product management experience, especially in an Agile environment involving close collaboration with customer experience designers.
- Short- and Long-Term Product Roadmaps: Requires experience managing short- and long-term product roadmaps.
- Financial and Analytical Skills: Strong financial and analytical skills required.
- Health Plan Insurance Experience: Health plan insurance experience strongly preferred.
- Management Consulting Experience: Management consulting or equivalent experience highly desirable.
- Communication and Project Management Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication and program/project management skills, including an ability to communicate effectively and present information clearly and concisely at an executive level.
- Influence and Relationship Management Skills: Excellent influence, relationship management, and engagement skills in building alignment and accountability without formal ownership or authority over talent resources within all levels of the organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
