This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of audio entertainment and services by delivering impactful solutions for creator growth, engagement, and success.
Key Responsibilities- Own the Podcast Creator Experience product area and craft a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall mission and goals.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of the creator economy virtuous cycle, podcast industry, and digital advertising market to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate future opportunities, drive decisions at Senior Leadership level, and write requirement documents and artifacts to enable product development.
- Make decisions contributing to the execution of highly complex projects while managing multiple stakeholders, high-level product/project ambiguity, and resource constraints.
- Partner with research teams and product analytics to develop product research studies and gain customer insights to inform data-driven decisions.
- Mentor Associate/Product and Sr. Product Managers to further develop the team, drive innovation, and execute initiatives across the portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 12+ years in product management, preferably in the podcasting or digital content space.
- Experience with Content Management Systems or applications.
- Demonstrated ability of product leadership in a cross-functional environment, driving collaboration and accountability.
- Passionate about users with deep empathy for creators and drive to improving their experience and success.
- Established record of delivering on time, in scope.
- Proactively makes correct trade-offs between scope & timing.
- Experience in workflow automation and development of innovative products for a diverse customer base.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in assessing data and identifying trends to glean predictive insights.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to transform information into engaging presentations to confidently deliver to senior and executive leaders.
- Strong influencing skills; you can build relationships with internal stakeholders and implementation partners to tell the user story in a compelling way and deliver the highest class in viability, usability, and feasibility.
- A team player with a strong work ethic, able to build and maintain business and technical relationships, balances autonomy and accountability to get things done.
- Ability to communicate with C-level and senior management teams as needed.
SiriusXM offers a competitive salary range of $143,000 to $215,550, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
