Position Summary:

The Electrical Assembly Specialist plays a crucial role in executing electrical tasks related to packaging lines, palletizing, and automation equipment for shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wire equipment according to specifications.
  • Assemble electrical or mechanical components as directed.
  • Bend and route conduit as per instructions.
  • Construct various conveyor systems as instructed.
  • Adhere to all 5S standards consistently.
  • Willingness to travel periodically as needed.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

(Knowledge, Skills & Abilities, Education & Experience)

  • A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) along with at least 1 year of experience in an electrical controls manufacturing or production setting is required. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics is essential.
  • Familiarity with electrical controls wiring is preferred.
  • Experience with the layout and functionality of electrical control cabinets is required.
  • Background in industrial automation is preferred.
  • Experience in conduit bending is necessary.
  • Proficiency in using power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and cutting wheels.
  • Basic computer skills are required to access drawings and 3D models.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow directions, make informed decisions, solve problems, and maintain flexibility to adhere to schedules.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • High awareness of client satisfaction and needs.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate efficiently with others.
