Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician (EAT) to contribute to our operations at AMF Bakery Systems. The EAT will play a crucial role in the assembly of control panels, junction boxes, and wiring systems within our manufacturing process. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work autonomously, accurately interpret technical instructions, and have a solid background in electrical assembly.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurately interpret and execute technical instructions
  • Assemble various electrical components
  • Wire systems according to detailed specifications
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Complete assignments adhering to quality and safety protocols
  • Provide updates on progress and recommend enhancements

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of trade school with a focus on electrical studies
  • Proven experience in electrical assembly tasks
  • Strong ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Demonstrated electrical aptitude
  • Familiarity with a range of tools
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items
  • Experience in fork truck operation

Work Environment:

  • Indoor manufacturing setting with occasional outdoor tasks
  • Concrete flooring with prolonged standing requirements
  • Limited air conditioning during warmer months
  • Exposure to potentially high noise levels
