Electrical Assembly Technician (EAT) - AMF Bakery Systems

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician (EAT) to contribute to our operations at AMF Bakery Systems. The EAT will focus on the assembly of control panels, junction boxes, and the wiring of machinery within the assembly department. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, accurately interpret technical instructions, and possess prior experience in electrical assembly.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurately interpret and execute technical instructions
  • Assemble various electrical components
  • Wire components according to established specifications
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Complete tasks adhering to quality and safety standards
  • Report on progress and recommend enhancements

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of trade school with a focus on electrical work
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical assembly
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions effectively
  • Strong electrical knowledge and skills
  • Familiarity with a range of tools
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items
  • Experience in fork truck operation

Work Environment:

  • Indoor manufacturing setting with occasional outdoor tasks
  • Concrete flooring with extended periods of standing
  • Limited air-conditioning during warmer months
  • Potential exposure to elevated noise levels
