Objective:
To maximize the output of high-quality products safely and efficiently from assigned machinery, while continuously improving operations and meeting established production targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, GMP, ISO, and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain and enhance established quality and production benchmarks.
  • Transport approved materials to the production area for processing.
  • Load materials into designated machinery.
  • Move finished goods and components to specified storage locations.
  • Assist supervisors in managing daily work-in-process inventory.
  • Make necessary adjustments and minor repairs to machinery as needed.
  • Complete required documentation accurately.
  • Maintain and clean machinery as required.
  • Support supervisors in preparing Device History Records and other necessary documentation.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Assist with changeovers, repairs, preventive maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Accountability:
Responsible for assigned products and production lines.

Internal Contacts:
Collaborate with managers, supervisors, mechanics, engineers, quality control inspectors, assemblers, and warehouse personnel.

External Contacts:
Not applicable.

Education Requirements:
Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic arithmetic skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals without a calculator.

Must be able to read and comprehend English; capable of completing required forms and training in English.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum:
At least one year of experience in high-speed manufacturing environments, such as pharmaceuticals, consumer products, food, or medical devices.

Special Skills:
Ability to follow instructions and exercise sound judgment.
Proficient in using electrical and hand trucks, tools, and all equipment safely.
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery operation are essential.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective communication skills for completing production reports.

Specialized Equipment Used:
Electric hand trucks (if applicable), computers, and tools.
