Job Overview

Managed Labor Solutions (MLS), a prominent national provider of rental car outsourcing services, is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to spearhead the long-term strategic initiatives within the market. This role involves leading and nurturing a team of leaders to consistently achieve sales and profit objectives. Reporting directly to a Regional Vice President, the manager will oversee all field sales and operational activities within the district.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Articulating and executing the market vision, encompassing both short-term and long-term operational strategies aimed at enhancing market share and elevating brand visibility.
  • Evaluating monthly performance metrics against sales and operational benchmarks, making necessary adjustments to achieve set goals.
  • Staying informed about competitive activities and providing strategic recommendations regarding pricing, services, and product offerings to maintain a competitive edge; collaborating with field sales to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Managing the district's Profit and Loss statement, ensuring revenue targets are met by controlling expenses, optimizing profits, and minimizing losses; conducting monthly financial reviews with team leaders for transparency.
  • Leading with engagement and motivation, recognizing the unique needs of a predominantly mobile workforce, and fostering a culture that inspires peak performance.
  • Creating a positive and rewarding workplace environment that promotes employee retention; collaborating with leaders to cultivate a culture that delivers an exceptional customer experience across all locations.
  • Partnering with national leadership to standardize best practices, implement operational guidelines in the region, and drive change management initiatives within the field.
  • Ensuring market leaders complete the annual Talent Recruitment Process for their direct reports, focusing on building a team of high-performing associates while providing coaching for those needing improvement.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) or a related discipline
  • Possession of a valid state-issued driver's license
  • A minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in operations and sales, preferably within the automotive aftermarket sector
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales, marketing, and operational methodologies
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and drive results through others while supporting associates in achieving their career aspirations aligned with organizational objectives
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
