We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Avita Property Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of our properties are well-maintained and meet high standards.

Salary: $28 per hour (starting rate)

Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of maintenance, including scheduling and performing preventative maintenance, inspections, nighttime lighting audits, and janitorial services. You will also maintain accurate records, ensure curb appeal, and monitor safety issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses
  • Ensure the quality of apartment homes and property appearance
  • Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with Property Manager to identify capital improvement needs and develop annual budgets
  • Coordinate contracted services, such as pest control and lawn care
  • Supervise use of property equipment and tools

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience
  • EPA certification
  • Ability to handle physical workload and work independently
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
