Role Summary: The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager in overseeing assigned projects. This role involves assisting in the management of project direction, budget, and completion timelines. The Project Coordinator will work closely under the guidance of the Project Manager and aid in the coordination of company personnel and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish project objectives, milestones, and schedules, presenting them to senior management.
  • Manage and allocate logistical resources effectively.
  • Regularly meet with subcontractors to review financials and project timelines.
  • Generate status reports and monitor project financials.
  • Oversee the acquisition of project permits and licenses, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks.
  • Prepare purchase orders and work orders for vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, building officials, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Address and manage issues related to material delivery, contract administration, and labor disputes.
  • Promote and ensure the safety and well-being of all subcontractors and laborers on-site.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project management.
  • Background in construction and project management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in software applications, including MS Office, scheduling, and estimating tools.
  • Experience with Blue Beam Software is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license in Massachusetts.
