Job Title: Statistical Process Control Engineer

The Statistical Process Control Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the statistical process control (SPC) program within our manufacturing processes. This role is integrated within the Quality Management Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and improve the existing SPC program to meet the specific needs of each manufacturing process and associated support systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams to ensure alignment of SPC practices with company goals and regulatory/customer requirements.
  • Manage and optimize the existing control chart program to ensure accurate reflection of process performance and timely decision-making.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify trends, variability, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for management and customer purposes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing and overseeing statistical process control systems within a manufacturing environment or other business environment.
  • Proficiency in statistical software like JMP, SAS, or Minitab and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of statistical principles, control charting techniques, and data analysis methodologies.
