**Job Overview**

The Washington Nationals Community Relations department is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Community Relations Youth Programming Development Coordinator.

This limited term associate role will provide administrative and operational support to the CR department, focusing on developing and evaluating educational programming connected to STEM Education, K-12 Education, and Summer Reading Programs.

**Responsibilities**

  • Partner with the Director of Youth Programming to design and implement educational initiatives that promote youth development and community engagement.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of youth baseball and softball programming, including outreach and community events.
  • Support the management and distribution of the Nationals' free Uniform Program for youth baseball/softball leagues.
  • Collaborate with CR staff to maintain inventory and manage storage spaces.
  • Respond to incoming requests, emails, and phone calls, and coordinate meetings with community groups.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in program development, event planning, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

**Compensation**

The estimated annual salary for this position is $36,000-$40,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The Nationals offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
