Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents according to established menus, dietary requirements, recipes, and portion control guidelines, under the supervision of the Sous Chef and Registered Dietitian.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment in compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Ensure timely meal preparation to meet serving schedules.
  • Serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines, verifying each tray for accuracy and completeness.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of resident and facility information.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in large-scale food preparation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication abilities with a focus on self-discipline and patience.
Pre-employment background checks and drug screenings are mandatory; marijuana is not included in the pre-employment drug test.
