Job Opportunity at Taziki's Cafe

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook-Park South. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing fresh food items daily, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare fresh food items daily, including menu items and catering orders.
  • Station Setup and Stocking: Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Menu and Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our menu and products, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
  • Order Management: Manage orders efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food to customers.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the kitchen, dish, and prep areas.
Requirements:
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience: Experienced preferred but not required - we will train you.
  • Knife Skills: Possess proper knife skills and ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with passion and urgency, dependable and reliable.
Working Conditions:

A typical work day at Taziki's Cafe may include morning shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.

Your physical requirements include prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds, and cooking.
