We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook at Taziki's Cafe. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving our Mediterranean-inspired menu to our customers.

• Prepare fresh food items daily and accurately, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
• Develop and maintain menu and product knowledge, providing excellent recommendations to customers.
• Manage orders efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers.
• Prepare catering orders, meeting the needs of our customers and exceeding their expectations.
• Properly handle and store food products, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance, setting a positive example for our customers and colleagues.
• Maintain health department standards throughout each shift, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, dish, and prep areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform shift-side work, including opening and closing duties, to ensure a seamless service.
• Complete all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform, staying up-to-date with the latest skills and knowledge.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experienced preferred but not required - we will train you.
• Proper knife skills and ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary.
• Strong work ethic with passion and urgency, and a dependable and reliable attitude.
• Professional attitude and respect for coworkers, the establishment, and the brand.

A typical work day at Taziki's Cafe may include morning shifts from 8am to 4pm, evening shifts from 4pm to 10pm, and weekends and holidays as required. You will work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.

Your physical requirements include prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds, and cooking.
