Job Opportunity at Taziki's Cafe

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cook at Taziki's Cafe. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving our delicious Mediterranean-inspired menu items.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare fresh food items daily and accurately
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • Develop and maintain menu and product knowledge
  • Manage orders efficiently and effectively
  • Prepare catering orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Properly handle and store food products to maintain high standards of quality and safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health department standards
  • Clean and maintain kitchen, dish, and prep areas
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including shift-side work
  • Complete all required certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experienced preferred, but not required - we will train you
  • Proper knife skills and ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary

Working Conditions and Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki's Cafe may include morning shifts from 8am to 4pm, evening shifts from 4pm to 10pm, and weekends when applicable. Hours will vary by store. You will work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.

Your physical requirements include prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds, and cooking.
