Transportation Operations Coordination

At Lorven Technologies, we seek a highly skilled Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic. In this advanced level position, you will be responsible for monitoring roadways, detecting and responding to traffic incidents, and improving traffic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate advanced computer-based traffic management systems to manage traffic and incidents on roadways.
  • Monitor CCTV surveillance cameras and detection systems to identify potential issues and respond accordingly.
  • Confer with partners, including highway patrol, service patrols, and local law enforcement, to coordinate resources and respond to incidents.
  • Dispatch service patrols and assist with other tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the effective management of traffic and incident response.

Requirements:
  • Advanced level operator position with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in operating various computer-based traffic management systems.

Work Environment:
This is an onsite position with a 3-6 month contract duration, subject to extension based on performance. The ideal candidate will be available to work the 2nd shift (Tuesday-Thursday 1:30 pm - 11:00 pm) or 3rd shift (Saturday-Monday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM).
