Production Operations Specialist

The Production Operations Specialist is a key role at Vaco, responsible for overseeing the production process from planning to execution. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and company objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff and engineers to achieve high-quality results and meet productivity targets.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Resource Management: Manage equipment, facilities, and supplies to ensure optimal production output.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Estimate costs, negotiate budgets, and ensure production is cost-effective.
- Quality Control: Set and enforce quality standards, monitor productivity, and implement quality control programs.
- Safety and Health: Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed and address concerns promptly.
- Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and evaluate production staff.
- Data Analysis: Analyze production data to inform business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
- Process Optimization: Continuously improve production processes to meet changing business needs.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in production management or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, operations management).
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; experience with production planning and control software.
Vaco offers a competitive salary range for this position, with a base salary of $ $123,000 per year, plus eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
Additionally, Vaco provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
