About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our team at REFORM Alliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our County Initiatives Program, which aims to transform community supervision by changing laws, systems, and culture to create real pathways to work and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the County Initiatives Program strategy and work plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conduct policy and legal research to support the program, including drafting landscape assessments and policy memorandums.
- Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including district attorneys, public defenders, probation chiefs and officers, judges, and community advocates.
- Supervise and mentor a team of County Associates and other team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Coordinate with other departments to identify and fulfill programmatic needs.
Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. required; Masters in Public Policy, J.D., or other relevant graduate degree a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of policy or criminal legal services experience.
- Project management experience, with a specific emphasis on developing and/or launching programmatic initiatives.
- Experience supervising a small team and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the criminal justice system and evidence-based practices, with a specific focus on corrections and reentry.
