Position Summary

CycleBar Traders Point is in search of a General Manager for our cutting-edge facility located in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about fitness and committed to providing an outstanding experience. This role emphasizes driving sales and revenue within the studio.
As the General Manager, you will be accountable for achieving studio sales targets, managing membership renewals, and meeting ancillary service objectives through strategic outreach to new customers, engaging first-time riders, and fostering member referrals. Reporting to a Franchise Owner and supported by a national sales director and the CycleBar Experience team, the General Manager must demonstrate leadership in all business aspects. Building strong relationships with both prospective and current members is essential for creating a robust community and ensuring member retention. The General Manager embodies hospitality and is dedicated to our mission of fostering a vibrant communal experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years in retail/service sales or fitness sales.
  • Proficient in generating personal sales and training Sales Representatives.
  • Ability to manage and enhance two revenue streams: memberships and retail.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and through digital channels.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic and diverse environment.
  • Skilled in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes judiciously.
  • A genuine passion for fitness.
  • High energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong writing and grammar capabilities.
  • Highly organized with proficiency in data management and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the community.
  • Proficient in computer use and studio management software; knowledge of Club Ready is advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead generation through grassroots marketing and networking initiatives.
  • Membership sales management.
  • Oversee staff scheduling.
  • Supervise the CBX teams.
  • Ensure the studio's cleanliness and organization.
  • Plan and engage in community events and studio promotions.
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to attract new leads.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned, focusing on acquiring new members and retaining existing ones.
  • Convert non-members into membership holders.
  • Conduct monthly pre-planning activities for securing first-time rider leads.
  • Build rapport and lasting relationships with members, embracing hospitality and promoting the CycleBar culture.
  • Actively coach and train the CBX team on hospitality and sales conversion techniques, collaborating with the owner on team accountability.
  • Work with the Studio Owner to establish monthly, weekly, and daily performance targets.
  • Drive referral business through strong member ambassadorship.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
