The Interim HealthCare Regional Management Center (RMC) is seeking a dynamic and skilled Staff Accountant. With a legacy of excellence in the home healthcare and hospice sectors since the 1970s, we invite you to be part of a collaborative team that values professional growth and challenges. Our RMC office in Worthington is dedicated to providing superior management and support to over sixty locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries, accruals, and financial statements.
  • Deliver clear and effective responses to financial inquiries from end users.
  • Conduct bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Support treasury operations with daily transactions and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by providing valuable insights.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for enhancing efficiency and processes.
  • Accurately prepare reconciliations for intercompany and affiliated entities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning by participating in educational opportunities and assisting with cross-training.
  • Support the annual audit process and collaborate with team members as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in accounting (public or private sector).
  • Strong skills in variance analysis, with the ability to identify, research, and communicate findings.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to adjust priorities as needed.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong desire for continuous learning.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Sound judgment and resourcefulness.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
