We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at Nexus Health Systems Ltd. As a Clinical Liaison, you will play a critical role in promoting our facility and building relationships with referral sources in the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quarterly marketing plans to achieve budgeted admits.
- Conduct sales calls to existing and potential referral sources, recording call activity in our system.
- Track physician non-monetary items for compliance and submit to the Marketing Director.
- Establish and cultivate professional relationships with referral sources to generate repeat referral opportunities.
- Seek out managed care opportunities and work with the Director of Professional Relations to cultivate the same.
- Complete weekly calendars and contact reports with timely submission.
- Attend conferences and professional seminars to promote our facility.
- Provide timely and detailed input to the marketing budget.
- Consistently complete and maintain data in our CRM system.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the hospital and marketplace to stay abreast of healthcare changes and trends.
- Perform competitive analysis of competitor facilities periodically.
- Conduct presentations and tours of our facility to potential referral sources and families.
- Perform clinical assessments to determine the appropriateness and acceptance of potential admissions.
- Maintain timely attendance and active participation in Nexus marketing education events.
- Cost-effectively perform marketing duties, consult with the director on plans, costs, and options before scheduling events/placing orders, submit expense reports quickly, and adhere to company policies on approved expenses.
- Maintain knowledge of community resources.
- Effectively, timely, and accurately report and/or communicate activities, progress, issues, and/or concerns to the CEO, VP, Sales, and Area Sales Director as appropriate.
- Work with the facility Marketing Director and VP of Sales and Marketing on an ongoing basis regarding concerns and issues that impact census building in the facility, respond to requests, participate in field ride-alongs and training, etc.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a related field, including two years of clinical experience.
- Background experience with case management or rehabilitation nursing and referral development required.
- Minimum of two years of marketing responsibility and referral development in the healthcare industry required.
- Not Required - Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice, preferred.
