This role works closely with EMS professionals, dispatch teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that our transportation products meet the highest standards for reliability, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate has experience in the health tech field or EMS field and a deep understanding of the complexities of healthcare systems and their workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with EMS professionals, dispatchers, operations teams, and leadership to gather insights and identify areas for product development.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to implementation and scaling.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and data teams to define and prioritize and steer development of product features and reporting.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure our services are competitive and continuously evolving.
- Lead the implementation of new features or services, ensuring a seamless integration with existing operations and workflows.
- Monitor KPIs and gather feedback from stakeholders, patients, and field teams to refine and improve the transportation product.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for promoting our technology to new and existing customers.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation on product performance, recommendations, and enhancements.
- Facilitate Demos of the technology to respective stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the year for business needs, including site visits, meetings, and conferences.
- 1-3 years of product management experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in health tech.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as operations, engineering, and marketing.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proficiency in software development lifecycle management and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with technical details, process flows, data analysis, platform integrations, and workflow automation.
- Experience in creating product strategies, identifying opportunities, and translating them into product initiatives and user stories.
- Ability to communicate clearly and build positive relationships across different parts of the organization.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative approaches to managing product lifecycles.
- Experience balancing data analysis and intuition in product decision-making, with a proven record of success.
- Experience working as an EMS professional, dispatcher, or in another relevant operational role within medical transportation a plus.
