Job Title: Product Manager

AMC Networks is a leading media and entertainment company that is home to some of the most iconic and beloved brands in the industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team and help drive the success of our digital streaming platforms.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Product Manager who can develop and execute a product strategy that aligns with our company goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a passion for digital media, and a deep understanding of the streaming landscape. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product features, managing the product roadmap, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy for AMC and our digital streaming products
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the streaming industry
  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs, business objectives, and market dynamics
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and content teams to deliver high-quality product releases on time and within budget
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and project management
  • Champion the user experience by conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform product decisions
  • Analyze user data and metrics to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Work closely with customer support and marketing teams to understand customer pain points and address them effectively
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of the streaming landscape, including trends, technologies, and competitive dynamics
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello
  • Passion for digital media and entertainment, with a keen interest in the latest industry trends and innovations
