Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health Information Technician Lead to join our team at Northeast Ohio Neighborhood. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and recording medical data into the electronic health record, as well as leading a team of healthcare professionals and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a High School Diploma or GED and three years of experience working in a medical records/healthcare setting. A Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential is required.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in navigating an electronic health record and have excellent leadership and organizational skills. You must also be able to apply laws and regulations on the confidentiality of information under HIPAA, the Privacy Act of 1974, and the Freedom of Information Act.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
