About the Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Health Record Technician to join our team at Neon Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and recording medical data into our electronic health record system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and recording medical data into the electronic health record system
  • Releasing medical information as required by law and regulations
  • Completing forms and documents related to patient care
  • Managing medical records documentation, including scanning and indexing paper documents into the EHR
  • Assisting patients with Patient Portal enrollment and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in navigating an electronic health record system
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to apply laws and regulations on confidentiality of information under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
