About the Role

  • We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer Technician to join our team at Avtron Power Solutions in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-voltage electricity and electronics.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $28 per hour, plus benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. We also offer great PTO and a 401(K) plan with a 6% match.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and troubleshoot wiring and functional problems according to wiring diagrams and test procedures.
  • Test prototype models according to engineering instructions and knowledge of electronic systems and components.
  • Interface with production and engineering personnel to record and correct physical and design nonconformance issues.
  • Program and test PLC's used to control load step applications.
  • Set up electronic components and protective circuits per test specifications.
  • Develop and build test simulations for engineering.
  • Assist in training new testers in test techniques, setup, and operation of test equipment.
  • Perform final inspection operations on all tested units.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
