">About the Job:

As a Senior Group Leader, you will be responsible for supervising Habilitation Specialists/DSPs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Train Staff: Provide guidance and support to Habilitation Specialists/DSPs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care.
  • Treatment Plan Implementation: Work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each person.
  • Certification Maintenance: Ensure all required certifications, such as SCIP-R and CPR, are up-to-date and maintained.
  • Classroom Management: Oversee the daily operations of activity classrooms and maintain accurate records.
  • Transportation and Communication: Transport individuals in agency vehicles as needed and maintain open communication with behavior evaluators and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Required
  • Experience Working with Developmental Disabilities: 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and good driving record are highly preferred.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights and 20 lb. items is required.
  • Punctuality and Regular Attendance: Punctuality and regular attendance are expected.
