Habilitation Professional Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Habilitation Specialist to join our team at ADAPT Community Network. As a specialist in our organization, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live fuller, happier, healthier lives.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25.75 per hour, plus industry-leading benefits for full-time employees. To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field, as well as one year of post-graduate experience.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Develops and implements individualized programs for acquisition of functional skills.
- Serves as an advocate and provider for individuals supported and their families.
- Supervises non-professional staff and maintains confidentiality of records.
- Utilizes community resources and teaches individuals to become more independent.
- Has a valid New York State Driver's License and proficiency in using adaptive equipment.
