Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Pharmacy Specialist

Job Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the Oncology department. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology pharmacy practice and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the Oncology department
  • Develop and implement individualized medication therapy plans for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
  • Stay current with new developments in oncology pharmacy practice
Requirements:
  • PharmD degree from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice
  • Experience in oncology pharmacy practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Board certification in oncology pharmacy
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • Knowledge of oncology pharmacy practice guidelines
