Job Summary

The University of Kentucky seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Senior Director to lead our pharmacy services team. This key role will be responsible for managing various aspects of pharmacy operations, including inventory procurement, information technology, revenue cycle management, and narcotic distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and performance in pharmacy services.
  • Lead and manage the planning for future programs at the enterprise level, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide pharmacy services to all patients, including inpatients, outpatients, discharge, clinic, and employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical knowledge and experience, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Supervise and manage a team of pharmacy professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy management, with experience in leadership, financial management, organization, clinical knowledge, analysis, and communication. A PGY2 Pharmacy Management Residency is preferred.
