Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Experience: Foster a positive patient experience by providing empathetic consulting services, offering preventive and clinical healthcare services, and ensuring prescribed medications are accurately dispensed.
  • Operations: Manage the pharmacy workflow, improve financials, and enhance patient experience by overseeing staff scheduling, assigning roles, and coordinating activities.
  • Clinical Services: Provide immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcome services, and collaborate with medical providers to clarify prescribed medications and dosages.
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain relationships with local medical communities, promote the pharmacy business, and identify opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and insurance billing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff.
  • At least 6 months pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co.
