Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site-specific seismic hazard assessments and ground-response evaluations.
  • Utilize numerical modeling techniques through finite-element methods in PLAXIS.
  • Design structures for earth retention, slope stabilization, grading remediation, landslide mitigation, and foundation systems.
  • Execute settlement and liquefaction analyses, along with seismic evaluations.
  • Formulate geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specifications for various construction projects.
  • Assist in field operations, including exploratory logging and oversight of deep foundation construction and grading activities.
  • Complete fieldwork, analytical tasks, and project administration with guidance from peers and leadership.
  • Progressively learn and tackle more complex, non-routine tasks under the supervision of senior staff.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience or internships.
  • Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification.
  • Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and soil mechanics.
  • A collaborative team player with a knack for problem-solving in dynamic environments.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset coupled with a positive outlook.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A dedication to exceptional client service.

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's or Ph.D. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Experience in numerical modeling, seismic hazard analysis, and GIS is advantageous.
