Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Executive Director to lead our Sports Properties team. As the exclusive multimedia rights holder for the University, our team manages all aspects of the rights relationship. The ideal candidate will be a strong business leader who can drive both financial and operational results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet both short and long-term business objectives.
  • Manage the sports property efforts to ensure the highest attainable level of success.
  • Develop strong relationships within the department and with corporate sponsors.
  • Deliver on individual and team revenue goals through the selling of integrated marketing packages.
  • Partner with the Regional Vice President to develop an annual fiscal budget for the entire property.
  • Supervise the sales team and ensure they effectively leverage internal support groups.
  • Recruit, manage, and train support staff, including coordinators and game day assistants.
  • Develop and model a strong team-based selling culture.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience selling comprehensive integrated sports marketing partnerships.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and craft an integrated marketing solution.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, and performance analytics.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in hiring, developing, and promoting top sales talent.
  • High energy level and strong drive for results.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in sports and/or higher education preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university.
