About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hematology and Oncology division in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, both hematologic and oncologic, in a primarily outpatient setting.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hematology and oncology diseases, utilizing standard methods and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of standards of care within the area of specialization.
Requirements
  • APRN or PA-C licensure in Nevada, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • National Nurse Practitioner certification through AANC or AANP, or Physician Assistant certification through NCCPA, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • DEA certification, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • 1+ years of oncology experience as an NP/PA, or 2+ years of Primary Care experience, or 3+ years of RN Oncology experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) certification, or willingness to obtain when eligible.
