Job Summary:

The Career and Technical Instructor will provide teaching and training services to students in a specialized subject, Clinical Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess required certification or license and have five years of experience in the field. The instructor will be responsible for preparing student semester reports, maintaining student daily records, and monitoring student progress. They will also provide academic advising, employment counseling, and job placement assistance. The instructor will instruct students on how to apply their knowledge to real-life situations and motivate students by responding to their individual learning styles and cultural backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver instructional materials and presentations to students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
  • Provide academic advising and guidance to students
  • Assist with employment counseling and job placement services
  • Participate in department trainings, meetings, and graduation ceremonies
  • Complete annual professional development requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials

Requirements:

  • Required certification or license in Clinical Medical Assistant
