Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technology Adjunct

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach Medical Laboratory Technology courses at our institution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory science and experience in teaching and course development.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Medical Laboratory Technology courses, including classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Provide student support and guidance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate degree with a major in Clinical Laboratory Science from a nationally accredited college or university
  • National certification (ASCP or equivalent)
  • Minimum of two years of full-time employment in a clinical laboratory or its equivalent within the past five years
  • Ability to pass the college's pre-employment security screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree earned from a nationally accredited college or university
  • Recent teaching experience in a clinical laboratory science program
  • Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in both the didactic and clinical settings
  • Ability to incorporate technology into instructional and faculty responsibilities
