Position Overview:

Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate samples of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, making basic batch adjustments as directed. You will also be responsible for releasing materials for production in accordance with laboratory protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, making necessary product adjustments based on historical data and successful laboratory trials.
  • Prepare testing solutions and reagents, ensuring proper standardization and availability.
  • Collect samples of raw materials and apply appropriate status labels.
  • Execute testing on raw materials and production batches.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of cGMP protocols.
  • Perform testing using HPLC and GC methods.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the QC Lab Supervisor or Quality Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A college degree is preferred, or relevant laboratory experience.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory practices or a background in chemistry.
  • Ability to execute procedures accurately and efficiently; work autonomously as well as collaboratively; and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations and the ability to produce neat and legible documentation.

Safety Considerations:

  • Adhere to all safety regulations within the facility.
  • No known sensitivities to chemicals utilized in the laboratory or production environments.

Shift Information:

This position is for the 2nd shift.

Compensation is based on experience, with additional shift differential pay.
