Job Title: EKG Tech/Phlebotomist

Christie Clinic is seeking a part-time EKG Tech/Phlebotomist to join our team in Rantoul. This role is 20 hours per week, with benefits, and requires a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples and perform EKGs as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory of supplies
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and taking messages
  • Assist with laboratory procedures, including pulse oximetry and spirometry
  • Work effectively in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a laboratory setting with frequent exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to a clinic. Requirements may include working irregular hours.
