Job Summary

The Microbiologist leads the process of assuring the plant has hygienic systems, processes, and equipment in place. Responsible for leading, developing, and implementing solutions needed for hygiene issues. Microbiologist has the responsibility of supporting key Quality Assurance Capability development at the plant and performing or supervising the performance of all microbiology testing.

Skills Required

Responsible for assisting the Microbiologist as directed and for general laboratory clean up, including cleaning of glassware and apparatus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 25lb overhead
Good vision, Legible handwriting.
Ability to bend, stretch, reach and stoop
Ability to work in hot/arm environment

Education Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent
Some microbiology experience preferred
Some lab experience (or education) is preferred.
