Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time EKG Tech/Phlebotomist to join our team at Christie Clinic in Rantoul. The selected candidate will work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 12:00pm, with occasional Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blood Collection and EKG Performance: Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients, identify and label specimens, and perform EKGs as needed.
  • Receptionist Duties: Answer telephones, screen calls, take messages, and provide information as needed.
  • Customer Service: Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
  • Electronic Medical Record: Check in patients, verify, and update necessary information in the electronic medical record.
  • Inventory Management: Inventory supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Physical Demands: The selected candidate must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stretch, and lift up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Working Conditions

The work environment is a laboratory setting with frequent exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to a clinic. The selected candidate must be able to work irregular hours and be an equal opportunity employer/protected veterans/individuals with disabilities.
