Job Title: Patient Service Representative III

Job Summary:

The Patient Service Representative III is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. This role requires a high level of competency and experience in patient intake, scheduling, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate Effectively: Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide clear instructions in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Schedule Appointments: Coordinate patient appointments, tests, and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling.
  • Verify Insurance Information: Confirm patient insurance details, update demographic information, and notify registration of changes as necessary.
  • Process Referrals: Schedule referrals, obtain prior authorizations, and document information in patient charts.
  • Manage Patient Panels: Track patient panels, schedule appointments, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to patient complaints, provide solutions, and ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with healthcare professionals, practice managers, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED: Required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in practice software, registration tools, and other relevant systems.
Working Conditions:
