Product Manager for Echo Sales and Marketing

Job Summary

The Echo Sales and Marketing team at Amazon is seeking a customer-obsessed Product Manager to lead sales and marketing for a subset of Echo products. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year plan to grow the Echo business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own marketing funnel optimization across channels, promotion planning and execution, inventory management, sales and engagement analytics, and regular leadership presentations.
  • Work with a cross-functional team including product development, demand planning, in-stock, finance, retailers, merchandising, and advertising to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Operate both strategically and tactically, thinking big to drive new opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs, diving deep into data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your programs and with colleagues across Amazon.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce, marketing, business management/consulting, finance and/or operations.
  • 2+ years of experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • 2+ years of experience managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in process and business results.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and solve problems.
  • General manager/owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive with bias for action.
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail and ability to drive insights from data.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Amazon is a total compensation company, and dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
