Job Description:

Director of Patient Accounts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Patient Accounts to join our team at Employment Process Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading operations and relationships at assigned hospitals, driving revenue growth, and ensuring excellent client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and Analyze Patient Accounts: Oversee the quality and quantity of referred patients and applications, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Process Billing Reports: Review and analyze billing reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize revenue streams.
  • Manage Denial Reports and Audits: Approve, assign, and escalate denial reports for assigned facilities, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Quality and Performance Metrics: Develop and implement quality reports to minimize A/R days, ensuring timely and accurate actions.
  • Staff Management and Development: Train, mentor, and evaluate staff, ensuring adherence to company SOPs and addressing variances.
  • Quarterly Staffing Reviews: Conduct quarterly staffing reviews, recommending adjustments to the VP based on volume, performance, and other factors.
  • Staff Performance and Salary Reviews: Conduct annual staff performance and salary reviews, ensuring fair and equitable compensation.
  • Coverage and Support: Provide coverage for staff leave and absence, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Meetings and Audits: Organize quarterly meetings and participate in quarterly facility audits with the VP, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing large employee teams and multiple client environments.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Employee Measures and Feedback: Establish qualitative and quantitative employee measures and feedback processes.
  • Travel and Relocation: Willingness to travel approximately 25% and relocate to the Houston, TX area.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in office equipment and general computer skills.
