Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Cost Accounting Manager to become a vital part of our team. This is a permanent, hybrid position within the dynamic engineering sector. The successful candidate will oversee all cost accounting functions, ensuring compliance and accuracy in line with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Cost Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing all cost accounting operations, including the preparation and analysis of cost reports and identification of discrepancies.
2. Collaborating with various departments to gather and interpret essential financial data.
3. Establishing and maintaining cost accounting systems to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Assisting in the formulation and execution of cost-reduction strategies.
5. Working alongside the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Senior Cost Accounting Manager position, candidates should possess:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
2. Strong experience with ERP systems is essential, with a preference for Oracle experience.
3. Familiarity with IBM COGNOS TM1 is advantageous.
4. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; a master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting complex financial data.
6. Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
