About the Role

The Regional Commercial Director is a key member of the Cabot Corporation team, responsible for driving revenue growth and executing commercial strategy across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business segment sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Facilitate internal and external communications to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction
  • Manage and motivate regional sales and account managers to achieve sales, technical, and marketing goals
  • Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and marketing objectives
  • Establish and implement individual customer account strategies, including sales and development plans
  • Identify customer problems or potential problems and communicate possible solutions
  • Support the Technical Service Manager to promote and develop new products and applications
  • Conduct market studies and product development to drive innovation and growth
  • Recommend and implement pricing strategies and administer price schedules
  • Generate, analyze, and communicate commercial information to inform business decisions
  • Prepare and deliver seminars to communicate technical aspects of Cabot's products
  • Formulate and manage long-term customer contracts to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Drive accuracy, analysis, and business process excellence within the regional commercial organization
  • Plan, prepare, and monitor departmental budgets and expenditures to meet financial targets
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing theories and practices
  • Strong knowledge of Cabot customers, industry, and competitive trends
  • Knowledge of Cabot businesses and products
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to negotiate with external customers and make presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Prior success leading and motivating a sales organization to achieve growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Deep understanding of B2B customer-supplier relationships
